The OCA Annual Camps Guide is your directory to Accredited Camps in Ontario. It is published each year in January and contains a wealth of information. All accredited camps along with their contact information are listed. There are helpful hints for families, information about funding and subsidies as well as information about camps for campers with additional needs. The Preferred Vendors of the OCA and their contact information are included and are a great resource for all people involved in camp.

Sending your child to camp can be difficult for some families to manage. However, there are a wide variety of funding resources available to help parents provide their child with an invaluable, memorable camp experience.
The OCA recommends that you start your search for financial assistance early. Contact the camps you are interested in directly to see if they offer subsidies or camperships. Many camps are willing to work with you to make financial arrangements that will work for your family. Ask if you can spread the payments out over the year.
There are charities, churches, clubs and other organizations as well as government programs that offer a helping hand to parents. Many of these are listed in our OCA Camps Guide.
Let’s take a trip back in time to the year 1925. (more…).
