LIFEGUARD POSITION (Part-time)
Whitchurch Riding Academy requires a lifeguard for 2 afternoons per week (in-ground pool).
Must be 16 years or older.
A lifeguard certificate issued by the Lifesaving Society, Canadian Red Cross or another organization that provides equivalent training.
Recreational swimmers only, there are no lessons involved.
Horseback riding experience an asset.
WRA Riding Camp is located east of Newmarket.

Camp Vincent is looking for two lifeguards for the summer of 2020. The ideal candidate will have group leadership experience,keep order on deck and be able to guage the swimming ability of campers,keep the pool clean and check for proper testing levels, be able to instruct and monitor canoeing in a pond setting, be versed in all emergency procedures, assist in managing swimming periods daily
At least 16 years of age by July 2020
Canadian Red Cross Assistant Lifeguard Certification(preferably open water certification)
Swimming lesson experience
Current standard first aid and CPR
Police check (vulnerable persons)

Zodiac Day Camp
ABOUT ZODIAC DAY CAMP:
Zodiac (established in 1978) operates eight one-week sessions out of a state-of-the-art indoor facility located at Eglinton/Allen Road with the use of Cedarvale Park including a sports pad, playground, splash pad and many fields. Zodiac’s program appeals to a multi-cultural community base (for campers and staff) and is designed to provide a varied Sports, STEAM, and Arts program for children ages 2.5 to 12 and a leadership training experience for 13 to 15 years olds. The Camp’s mission is to challenge campers and help develop their skills, as well as to assist each camper in achieving personal goals, and building confidence and self-esteem.
Up to 8-week contract available (June 29 – August 21, 2020) + pre-camp set up and training. Free Lunch, uniform and staff recs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Swim instructors will be responsible for teaching levelled swimming lessons to campers ages 2.5-12 at our Forest Hill CI pool location equipped with tot tables and other amazing, innovative, creative teaching equipment. There are 5 classes per day, and each lesson is 30-40 minutes long.
Swim instructors will be provided with organized student worksheet/report card process
Administrative responsibilities include lesson planning, maintaining progress tracking sheets and completing progress reports
Staff Meetings: Every Wednesday during the camp period (4:45-6:00 p.m.). Bus shuttle will be provided to transport you from the pool to Leo Baeck camp facility
CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED: all certifications must be current during employment

CAMP TAMARACK is located in Bracebridge, Ontario. We are just under 2 hours north of Toronto. We are currently looking for qualified PADDLESPORTS STAFF. Candidate must have prior experience/training in canoeing and kayaking and have a minimum current Bronze Cross, SFA, CPR-C.
